Pankaj Kumar Mahto is an experienced, optimistic and highly hard working social worker who has vast experience of working in both social and rural development/administrative fields at a young age. His career began in journalism and has spanned over a decade in rural development/administrative roles. Mr. Mahto has been associated with people through community clubs in the past as well. Where he has honed his skills in management, operation and community development. Inspired by his commitment to social accountability/responsibility, he decided to work in the development sector and founded Shreesundram Foundation (NGO) in May 2025.
Their main objective is to connect people to livelihood through initiatives in environment and skill development. They have also decided to do proper work in environment, education, health services, agriculture, women empowerment, so that the poor, backward, Scheduled Tribe Community and exploited can directly benefit from it.
Mr. Mahto has seen firsthand the severe economic and health challenges faced by families in his neighbourhood, where poverty and lack of access leave people exhausted and exhausted from the constant moving about. He has seen the agony of farmers, seen people suffer without health facilities, seen compulsion put an end to the zeal of students.
People often had to borrow money to fulfil basic needs, agricultural needs, food etc. Although this fulfilled their needs, it was difficult to live with self-respect.
